Summary: Small collection of materials from Maynard Shaw's military service on the Arizona-Mexico border just after World War I. Includes copies of Shaw's enlistment and discharge records, printed materials given to soldiers including special orders and troop alarm instructions, and a series of newletters, "The Dragoon," published in Douglas, Arizona, dated February to April 1919, for the First Cavalry and containing news of dances, entertainments, news of a second influenza epidemic at Camp Harry Jones, reports on a baseball game, etc.
